Meshed color gradients and w3c vector graphic

The color gradient is one of  the basic tools available in most computer graphic programs that can be used to reach high realistic results. In the standard vector graphic format ( svg , the graphic format proposed by w3c) there are actually defined two gradient (radial and linear). Searching the web for some news on the subject, I found a post in libregraphicsword on new w3c specifications that implements the mesh gradients as proposed by Tavmjong Bah, one of Inkscape developers. I hope that this tool will be soon available in the Inkskape interface and in browser render engines
